About SEI Metadata
Tesla vehicles with firmware 2025.44.25 or later embed SEI (Supplemental Enhancement Information) metadata in dashcam recordings. This includes real-time telemetry like speed, GPS coordinates, steering angle, brake/accelerator position, turn signals, and autopilot state.
This tool decodes that metadata and displays it alongside your video. All processing happens in your browser — your video never leaves your device.
